How do I make gravity affect strokes and drawings in paint mode?
I created a series of small strokes using the paint brush tool that I would like to fall down slowly like confetti.
Within the strokes settings I have them toggled on as physical objects but no matter what I've tried I cannot get them to fall at all. Anything I draw in paint mode just hangs in the air and is unaffected by gravity.

You can animate them to fall. The best way i can sughest without testing it is to attach it to a simple cube sculpt then paste a negative cube over it after you attach the painting.
BUT if your aiming for rain style effect theres a tutorial that actually shows you how to animate and tweak strokes into doing what you want, although it doesnt show off the frames feature. -
They're not marked as physical objects, but they do react to physical movement.
The best way of doing this is to increase the gravity setting on that same settings page, which will droop the stroke along the line as if pulled by gravity. Then turn on "pulse" in the animation tab, shorten the length to 0, and set the animation speed to how fast you want them to float down.
