how to get puppets to walk towards something at normal speed
I have tried a couple of approaches with no luck:
- attach follower to the puppet following a tag - result is the puppet is almost dragged towards the tag with its feet sort of shuffling along. Looks really odd.
- tweak the puppet and use the 'follow' to add a tag there. In this case I had a puppet scaled down to 10% and the puppet walked slowly, but his walk cycle was really fast (check out 'times up' where they're walking from the car to the jet for that example). I even reduced walk speed to 0.1m/s for that
Whats the best way to just get a puppet to walk normally from A to B?

Just a puppet like a NPC that walks towards something? Possess recorder and then walk it at what speed you want.

Possess doesn't work because I need this clip at about 30 seconds into the animation and possess recorder seems to restart the entire timeline - which also then messes the camera up because its on another part of the scene. Would I have to make a separate contraption with timeline jjust for that animation then import it in? Sounds a pain, especially if I need it to walk around/to objects in the main scene.
