Half and qquarter shapes

Hey so when I'm sculpting with the moves I'll randomly push buttons because I forget the shortcuts a few times it's taken my shape and split into halves or quarters does anyone know how to do this intentionally ?

  Hi there!
  
  So you can section your shape when doing form scale (might be called non-uniform in the beta) so if you tap the two spheres of the moves together you'll be able to add a hole to the shape (if it's a shape that allows you to) by holding circle on the secondary motion controller and twisting it, and if you want to section the shape (if it allows it) press square on the primary motion controller (while in the form/non-uniform scale).
