Setting an object to cast self-shadows but cast ground shadows

I probably know the answer to this but...

I have a character with Platforming Shadows enabled. I know I can disable a sculpts' shadows entirely. What I'd like to do is keep the self-shadows on the sculpture while disabling ground shadows. Is this even possible?

And on this same topic, is there a way to disable fog shadows? The shadows are actually darker than the fog itself...
