how do i wire a timeline/animation to a puppet
so i made a time line and set up a walk cycle animation but i cant figure out how to attach it to the puppet. i tried wiring it directly to the walk option on the puppet interface but it wont let me.

so i attached the animation to the the left stick output on the controller sensor and then also attached it to the walking strength output on the puppet interface. i want the animation to loop and vary in playback speed in relation to the speed of movement basically.

Shouldnt you attach the animation to the walk output? You want it to play when the puppet is walking, so make the output of the puppet interface power the timeline.

Hi Tacobaras.
Puppets have Procedural Walk and you can´t replace the walk cycle with a Timeline. Instead, you can create a walk pose on a Keyframe and wire it to the Puppet Interface´s "Walk Strength" output. Combine this with the Puppet's settings to achieve the walk cycle you want.
On the other hand, you could disable Procedural Walk and create your own logic for moving the Puppet while playing your walk cycle. It's way harder though, so I recommend only doing this once you are more confident using Logic.

yeah its gonna take some practice thank you for the keyframe suggestion ill try that for now and @Aecert it doesnt let you wire it directly to the walk output, i tried that in a couple different places

Huh, my bad. Im confused did you animate an entire walk cycle? If so why not just play it while the puppet is moving. Or just do what pablos first suggestion is lol
