How do I mirror a clone? or How do you mirror a remixed object?

I made a puppet and was having some trouble sculpting all the details of the fingers and so I searched the dreamiverse for hands but I could not find a pair. I could import single right and left hands but they were totally different styles.

Is there a way to clone and then mirror an object? Or mirror an imported object from the dreamiverse?

If you press L3 whilst holding a clone with R2 it will mirror the sculpture for you.
