How do I: Prevent The sun in my level from leaving a trail

I have a level with a day to night feature and the sun in my level leaves a trail behind it while it moves, but it only seems to do so in play mode so I am not sure if it is a bug. If not then how do I prevent it? It only seems to be noticable with a dark sky but I am not sure if that is because the trail blends in with a bright sky.

  You could try hiding the sun in the sun & sky gadget and making a custom one.
