How do I get my puppet to stand flat-footed?
I’ve made a puppet wearing flip-flops (thong sandals, in case that’s a regional term), and they look fantastic when he walks/runs, with his heel separate from the sandal. But when he stands still, he looks like he’s balancing on the backs of the sandals, kind of leaning forward, with his heels in the air. It’s an amusing stance, but my preference would be to have him stand flat, unless that means losing the great flip-flop walk animation.
Any suggestions?

I think you just need to lower the pelvis part of the puppet until the heels touch the puppet base. I've noticed that if you e.g. shorten the legs too much without doing this afterwards, you can even end up with a puppet that just floats along without moving its legs, I guess because it can't reach the ground :)
