How do I :
I'm trying to turn my sculpture into a "puppet" but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I know you can modify the default puppet but is there not something you can do to make it a puppet?

Hi.
You can indeed.
If you look on the tweak menu for a puppet you can see on one of the pages is the puppet layout (looks a bit like a skeleton) you can retarget each part onto something new, and thus create your own puppet that way
