  Hi, yes you can. One way is like this (there are many ways, i like to use keyframes):
  
  On the object click L1+square to change its parameters. Choose a color.
  
  now, add a keyframe (you find this under 'animate'). while recording the keyframe change the color of the object.
  
  Now add a switch. attach the switch to the keyframe.
