Collaborate?
How do you share creations with friends and not publish it to the inter webs?

There is private but then how do I let the view it

Hi there,
If you want to add someone as a collaborator so they can view your private publish follow these steps.
View the cover page of your dream/scene/element.
Select the cog in the top right corner called creation settings.
In there select collaborators.
Then on the collaborators screen select add collaborator, add who you want to!
Then your friend will get the invite which they can find in their notifications, accept it and then they'll see it in their creations where they can view & edit it.
Thanks,

Hi Cat, follow up question:if i do changes and my mate does changes as the same time. How does it work?
Whoever saves will overwrite the other person? Let's say i work on sculpting while my mate works on music.
If i save my level, then turn off my ps4 and my mate saves 5mins later his song in the same level. Will my sculpture still be there when i restart my ps4? Or whatever he does overwrite whatever i do? -
Hi there!
Good question! So if your friend goes to work in the scene but you're already in there, they will get a notification saying that you're working in there and that it's best to not with a dialogue box.
Also if they go into there for testing purposes maybe with the intention to see what something would be like while working in there if you publish a new version they'll get a notification informing them that you've published a new version.
If however you just both work on it at the same time and publish it one after the other the latest save will be by whoever published last, not containing the other person's changes. As the game isn't aware of those updates as they were local to the person working on them.
It's why it's then good to work in elements that get placed into the scene, so people only need to edit the master scene when placing a new element or using the update mode to update an existing element in the scene, or to check things work well together.
It's also why version notes on your saves are your best friend (or at least that's how I think of them) in the version notes when you publish your save you could explain what you've added/fixed/removed so your friend can have an idea of what's changed without having to guess.
Hope this helps a little!
Thanks,

Thanks for the explanation Cat! I know multiplayer create is not planned for launch but is it still coming later? I loved working together with my friend in LBP
