Is it possible to use the move controllers for gameplay?

Could we make a Beat Saber like game that makes use of the PS move controllers but no VR? This way we could do it with two people... one on each controller.

I heard Alex say that wouldn't be in at launch but it will come later, don't quote me on that though

Now that we are in Early Access is there a way to treat different move controllers as different players, so that we can posses 2 different objects. One with each controller?
