How do I change the point at which a primitive is anchored to the controller in sculpt mode?
I’m not sure if this is possible, but I’d like to be able to change where the primitive sits in space in relation to the controller. I know you can rotate it (at least with the DualShock. Haven’t seen that option outside of the constantly spinning mode with the Moves) but I haven’t seen a way to simply translate the primitive in 3D space. This would make certain movements and actions during sculpting much easier and more comfortable without having to resort to strange camera angles that don’t always give the best view of the area I’m working on.

If you hold L1 and press square to open the shape editor when sculpting, you can change the grip position using the second option from the left.

So can someone explain what that mode is used for? (No 3D modeling experience here lol)

Ah, I see it now! Thanks Rich!

Is there a move shortcut for this?
