How can I apply Opacity to an object to make a "window"?
Hi Mm!
I would like to be able to apply a Opacity to an object to be able to create a window.
I have no clue where it's located or if it even exist.
Help! Thank you!

You cant use opacity on an object only paint strokes.. you can get a decent window texture though using strokes.. Look up window
You just have to be creative with it..

Upon further thought i was thinking.. To make things easier for you.. I would create a thin square the shape of the window... use the paint tool and surface snap on the square.. this will give you a clean line to work with.. thats not in some weird angle.. After you finish with the Streaks just delete the square leaving only the stokes left.. Adjust the opacity to the level you think is best!

It is unusual, that it's missing--as it's part of the painting splat engine anyway. Perhaps there's some specifics of how the rendering works that make it more difficult that we realise...
