How to restrict movement on an axis?

I want to make it so that an object can only move along a single axis and is rigid along the others. Anyone know how can I do that?

Try an advanced mover and only have velocity in the axis you want :)

Unfortunately it comes into contact with stuff, and tends to move around. I want to make it so they don't bounce around. I was able to get close enough by increasing their weight.
