Make organic looking trees?
So i'm trying to make trees for this animal crossing inspired thing but they look so ugly and weird. Any way to make them look more organic like an actual tree?

Try playing the Coat, Style and Effects tutorial for some tips on making simple trees look good.

Using the curve shape tool in sculpt mode with blending is also a good base for making tree trunks with branches.
Use the paint mode, change the fleck tool to stamp. Tweak the fleck settings and turn up the scatter slider for some foliage like effects.
