looking at the UI icons why is there a (uiinventory) and (uijustcollected) if there is no inventory logic?
if these appear as icons then there must be useable at some point, why isn't there any logic to sense if the player has a certain prize bubble or not or inventory logic instead of having to make it with variables.

They were going to add it at one point, but decided against it for one reason or another. So the icons are a remnant of older times ;D

MM should have left inventory logic in the game or at least gave a reason why it was removed so to me that's a stupid decision by them.
we need more possibilities not less, they might as well remove Variable logic too while they were at it.
