How would you make a custom 3rd person camera?
I noticed the puppet camera lags behind the character when it's falling, also there seem to be some options like focus distance which are missing. I'm pretty good with logic usually but making a custom 3rd person camera seems too complex because it needs to rotate around an anchor but also be able to come close to it depending on if it's colliding with stuff.
Is there a better way to do this or instead just modify the puppet camera, am I overthinking it?

One thing that bothers me as well with the custom puppet is that the camera only continues following on Y axis when the character leaves the screen area, is there a way to make this smaller?
