How do i adjust connections on the inside of an object?
For some reason when i place my pistons, sometimes they are on the inside of my object that i created. Especially annoying when im trying to create neat and aligned platforms. First of all, why are the pistons placing on the inside? But, how do i select the inside of the object sonthat i can relocate the piston to the surface?
This will also be helpful with character creation. I have no idea how to move or create new connections on characters. All the connecters are within the dummy character and i’m not sure how to edit the inside. I know you press triangle and the connection nodes pulse, but i can’t actually select them without zooming in really close.

First, there is a view filter on the palette for X-Ray vision and viewing pistons. You can see and interact with them through your sculpt.
Second, grid mode while placing pistons and ropes are a lifesaver. -
Also when it comes to the connectors, if you just want to change the pivot joint which is the purple part of the ball/bolt joint with x-ray on (so you can see it) you can just move that point freely. That will then change where your jointed object rotates around.
Pressing triangle and making the nodes pulse is so you can then reposition what the joints are connected to, or move the end sections of the connector :)
Also totally agree with mBergs that the grid at times can make your life a lot easier if you're making very specific connections between objects, like a hinge for a door etc, with characters I find it can be a bit more fluid, unless they're robots :)
But yes x-ray is your friend which can be found under show/hide!

wow, thank you guys. x ray is perfect. i really didn’t understand how to select the inside of a character for moving the connections.
