What are the nodes in the various tweak menus for?
So I'm messing around with the music tool. Every instrument has got its own outputs page, which is cool. BUT! What are these nodes for? I took a screenshot from the MM Music stream to show. I don't understand what they are, and can't find an explanation on them anywhere.
You can definitely connect wires to them, but not sure what kind of signal they accept or send out. I've tried sending the output of the volume tab to change the saturation of a painting, but instead of following the volume, it seems to send a gate signal, so either on (when there is volume) or off (when there isn't). But yeah, all these possibly work in different ways. Would love for there to be an explanation to how they all work somewhere.
Anyone know?

Oh, ok, found this in the manual:
All of the properties on a tweak menu also have input & output ports ,
which you can see slide out of the sides of the tweak menu when you
hover over them.
By wiring these ports up to other tweak menus or gadgets , you can
pass signals in and out of the object and make things happen in your
creations.
Signals can trigger an event, turn the power on in a gadget , send
information from one gadget to another, change the properties of an
object and so on.

So I guess they're mostly on/off signals.
