How do I Lip Synch puppets ?

I’m trying to get a T-Rex to sing. I can’t seem to figure out how to synch it though. I have tried the action recorder but it grabs his whole head. I just want his lower jaw to move. I can grab just jaw outside of recording but not within it. Maybe a better question would be how do I assign lower jaw movement to a button impress?

  With your action recorder freshly stamped, press shift + x to scope into the T-Rex further, so that you can see the outline of the jaw when you hover over it.
