Any tips on uploading to Youtube?

I’m completely new to using Youtube, I recorded a video of my “sacred geometry” dream using the share and uploaded to Youtube, but the quality is not as good as the original, do I need to convert to a different format first?

Any hints and tips for Youtube would be greatly appreciated :)

This is what I do. I use the Share Factory whosits to make basic edits to my vid, like trim it and such. Then save the vid to a USB, transfer that to my PC, then upload from PC to YouTube.

Thanks Jester I’ve done that, but for some reason youtube downsizes the resolution to 720p rather than 1080p which makes a big difference to the quality of my videos?
