how do i use keyframes on a puppet while its doing its own animations?
im using a puppet and it does normal animation movement but i wanna use a key frame where if i press or hold a button the keyframe will be on and will keep lets say the puppets arm sticking out straight and the animation from the puppets running animation wont effect it, other wise the puppet is doing both animation, like is there a keyframe animation overwrite option?

Just do what you described and it will work. The keyframe will only affect the state of the thing you recorded with it. So the rest of the animation and movement will work exactly the same.
