Puppet Camera Transition
Is there a way to control the transition back to the puppet camera?
I'm trying to toggle between two other cameras in my level. They both have transition controls which allow me to cut to them. But when I turn them off and return to the puppet, the camera view flies back to it. This can look a bit messy if it flies right through the objects in the scene.
Alternatively, is there a way to make an external camera for the puppet that follows and behaves in the same way as the internal camera in the puppet? This would allow it to have the transition controls like the other cameras.

Check out the Deluxe Puppet, as it comes with Camera (batteries not included) ;)

Hi,
In this case there is no way of controlling the return speed of the camera so you'll have to get a bit creative.
If you stick a camera inside the puppet, the same as the cameras you're using elsewhere, and when you want to return to the puppet activate that camera for a split second (or the length you want the transition to be, then turn it off.
You'll get a fast transition then a final slow soft transisition, but hopefully the slow one will be going from about where the puppet's camera allready is.
hope that helps

Ah yes. I had been considering putting another camera in to break the transition but I hadn't thought of putting it in the puppet itself.
Thanks. I'll give it a try. Now I just have to work out how to insure it always cuts back to that camera.
