How to hide certain objects

I have made a building that has numerous different rooms and levels. However, I am finding it very difficult to get the imp inside the structure to make furniture etc as I cannot see it properly. I know I can hide everything else but this is not much use as I need to see other objects for a reference point in order to place things in the right spot. Is there an option to hide certain objects like say a roof or a wall?

Hi,

In the main tool menu, there is an option down near the end (an eyeball icon) called hide, just click on all the things you wanna hide and they turn yellow.
Leave the tool and they all didsapear,

Use the tool again to unhide things one at a time, or all.
