Get scoreboard. How to Use Score and Score Post?

This has been answered I've searched but I don't get it. At the end of my level (maze) when you get to the exit there is a trigger zone that sets off the exit door and I have the score gadget set up to the trigger zone because that would be your end time.

*I saved my dream as private* that's what multiple posts on here said to do. I feel like my wiring is wrong. I will add a picture and maybe that will help. Thanks :D
