more efficient cloning/editing of repeat items with logic - i.e. enemies etc
After going in and tweaking each individual copy of an enemy for the nth time, I finally figured I should have a better system in place (it was ok to start off with while I was learning).
Does 'live cloning' work with full objects with attached microchips/logic? Or is it only for sculpts?
If it is limited to sculpts does that mean I need to save enemies/logical stuff as individual contraptions? That would be a bit of a pain to go out of the current scene, tweak the contraption, come back, update items and then test.

I'd like to know the answer to the "live cloning" question, also.
I think the recommended way to work is to have things like this as their own creations. While editing a level, you can select an object and click "edit source," which takes you to the right local creation in edit mode. Hope that helps... -
my experience so far is that live cloning is applied to sculpts only (maybe paintings also, didn't test this one)
I can say for sure that you can't live clone microchips or any other elements. that means you can clone them, but they won't receive the changes
