Animated Faces?
Anyone have any luck with animated faces so far? Fully animated mouth, eyes, eyelids?
So far I sculpted a face and had the eyeballs look around with some basic keyframe animation. I had an issue where I tried to group the eyeballs to the face I made, but one eyeball would group and the other eyeball would not.
What are other people's ideas and tips?

Fully animated faces are pretty tricky! You're on the right track though - it's best to work on each feature individually, and then add them to the face when they do what they want.
You'll end up with groups within groups, each group having it's own role to play.
Good luck! -
Is there a better tool for rotating an eye in its socket rather than free rotating it?

Try using ball joints and connect from the head to the eyeball. Then grab the middle ball joint itself and place that right in the middle of the eyeball. Now when you rotate the eye it should always rotate around the same spot.

I saw the ball joints but was struggling with using them. Will give it another try.

I could imagine you can create multiple animations and then play whatever animation you need on certain events via logic... (something similar to morph targets in other 3d software) ?...
