I would love the ability to hide seach results with tags or text I'm not interested in seeing - memes, anything with 'my creation' in the title, the fad copyright stuff, etc.

Totally. I don't mind "mycreations" thou. Sometimes they're just from new dreamers and I like to see what they're coming up with. But yeah. More filters would be great.

Ability to search for this and NOT that would be very useful. The search facility is very basic. Any addition would be a bonus.
