Make an asset collection before stamping
It is possible to place an object straight from the Dreamiverse into your scene that is so thermo heavy that it stops you from deleting it. Also many elements contain floors, lights, sun/sky gadgets and music that you do not want, or the grab point on the object is so far from itself you cannot find the element when you stamp it.
To safeguard your creation make sure you do the following:
- Save before stamping anything new into your level
- Make an asset collection of elements you might want to use direct from Dream shaping. Then you can look at each of them individually before stamping them anywhere. Then you can find out if they have extra parts, if the thermo is too high etc.
- Remix your assets outside your level. You can adjust the thermo, get the colouring as you like it, remove any parts you dont need and prepare the asset. Now when you stamp it in any of your scenes it will look the same. You can always use update on all the scenes if you alter the element.
- Collections of assets is a good place to put your favourite elements that you use many times. Like a favourite piece of ground or tree. It is much easier to stamp into your main design from your collection than trying to find an asset in the whole of the Dreamiverse that you saw fleetingly and cant remember the name of.

I know this is an old post and sadly the whole forum seems deserted (talk about being late to the party) but I'll ask anyway lol: Has this issue been fixed by an update or do we still need to take these safeguard precautions when stamping complex/expensive assets?
I also wanted to say thanks for making your site/blog. I learned some good stuff from there!
