Camera Display Gadget
Here's an idea for a gadget with a ton of interesting uses.
the display gadget shows whatever is on a camera in a small text box-like window.
name a camera, put that name into your display gadget and now you have your window.
you can crop it, change grade & effects, and it only affects that window.
obvious uses are tvs and monitors, but it could also be used for optical illusions, fake walls, detailed pictures, and probably loads more things i'm not creative enough to think of.
i'd love to see this gadget added to the game in some form. it'd open up a lot of possibilities i feel.
thanks for reading!

I love the idea, but it might not be technically feasible (at present, on PS4). A second view would require the scene to be rendered twice, which would probably be beyond the processing power of the PS4/pro models. Probably why we don't have split screen support either.
Maybe once a dedicated PS5 version is available, it might be doable though...

Would be a great idea. I wonder if they can give the option to dial down the quality. So the splat level is 10% of normal. As of objects are further in the distance. Maybe even less! If your projecting onto a small tv screen, you don’t need as much detail in the “render pass” (whatever that looks like in the Dreams engine) to make a good representation of the scene. Think about it, the closer you get to the tv, the more of the space it takes up on your screen. Which means less work it has to do to render the scene. And so more power available to render the tv view!
I doubt it’s as easy as that. It would be a really cool feature though!
