Try entering the puppet group, pressing L1+X (where you can edit each part of it) and place the microchip in the hand.

Press L1+X (if I'm not mistaken) and it will allow you to move the camera and see what it's facing.

Is there any way to alter the level of blend without entering shape editor (L1+Square inside sculpt mode)?
