Copy Updatable Scene
I'm in the early stages of making a game that takes place in a house over several days where each new day is a new level/game scene. The house remains the same on every level. So I'm trying to figure out the best way of copying the house scene to each game scene while keeping the ability to update the house.
Remixing would work if the house were finished, but I was hoping to work a little on the house while I also jump around and work on the different levels/game scenes. (While the house is the same each level the gameplay is different.)
Is there a way of copying an incomplete scene to multiple game scenes and keep the ability to update all game scenes when the original is worked on? This includes having the ability to not just update the sculpting but also lighting and other gadgets that are added to the original.

What I would do is save the house as a new element, then add it to each of your individual scenes. That way you can go in and edit the house on its own, then you have the ability to update the house in your levels from the Assembly menu. I'm not sure what happens if you change the house from inside one of your scenes, so be careful to only change it in its own creation.

I think I've answered my own question. The key is how the house "scene" is made. I thought since I'd be making an entire "scene" with multiple sculptures and light effects that I should make it as a Game Scene or Story Scene. But you can't copy those, only remix them. And remixes don't update when the original is changed.
But I now know that if you make everything as a Sculpture, not a Game Scene or Story Scene, you can stamp the whole ensemble in to each level. (Each level is made as a Game Scene.)
Then as I make changes to the house sculpture, all levels will update with the changes. -
Sorry spezy93, I didn't see your comment until after I posted my update. I think you were suggesting the same thing that I just now realized. lol
