How do I keep wings static (folded)
I've added these wings that I sculpted to the deluxe puppet. They're made up of three separate pieces are are bolted together and fold out. I've grouped them with the puppets chest so that they move when it moves.
I then edited every existing keyframe I could find to make sure that they stay folded when the puppet moves.
However, as you can see from the following video, as soon as I possess the puppet, the wings drop and move erratically when I run around.

How do I get them to stay in the folded position?
I also tried giving them their own keyframes (one folded; one spread open) , but they still slightly unfolded when I possessed the puppet.
I've tried to also disable any physical properties on the wings (gravity, collisions etc) to make sure that these weren't the cause of the problem.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Or is there a better approach? I want to eventually add a new flying animation where the wings spread at the press of a button and the puppet flies, but I can't even get this part to function correctly 🙈
Thanks.

Have you tried keyframing their static position?
Then when you want them to move just turn off the static position keyframe. You may even be able to switch off the static keyframe with another keyframe (a selector may work better though) -
Thanks for the response.
Yes, I tried adding a keyframe for the static position, but once I enter play mode and possess the puppet the wings slightly drop from their static position. I may add another video later to show this. -
Try deleting all the keyframes but one. See what happens. And pin that window to the screen while testing. This will help you see when it's actually powered, things like that, and help you figure out the pattern.
You can then of course undo and delete other keyframes and so on, narrowing things down. -
Thanks, TAPgiles. This seems to work - the wings stay in the correct static position after deleting all pre-existing keyframes from the puppet. I guess they're interfering in some way. Seems strange.
