In progress creations when early access ends
Does anybody know what happens to creations we're currently working on once early access ends? Is there a way to ensure they'll be carried over? I read work in progress creations with the beta had to be published as private to make sure they were carried over...is that the case with early access too?

At the end of beta there was a warning shown when saving that you need to upload your stuff for it to carry over to whenever you play Dreams again. Most likely they'll do that again, and most likely that's what you'll need to do again.
Note you can upload privately and it'll still be on their servers and will be safe. -
Hopefully the warnings are out soon, leaving those who don't check forums plenty of opportunities to not lose their stuff.
If I save a level as private do I also have to save elements I've made that have been imported in that level? For example, I made a combination lock and placed it in my game. So if I save the game to private but not the original combination lock (that's kept saved locally on my ps4)will the version that's in my game still be there if my local saves get wiped? -
When you upload anything (private or otherwise), you'll get a notice saying other included elements must also be uploaded. It'll then give you the opportunity to make those elements listed/unlisted, private, etc.
And I'm certain they will make the switchover as smooth as possible. One of the primary reasons (in my opinion) for the early access was to allow time for plenty of user made content to land in the dreamiverse before launch. The release will be much more impactful with an already thriving community, plenty of user made games, and many soon to drop works in progress. -
I thought there was recent tweet from Mm saying they everything is intended to carry over automatically, but I very much recommend saving your work online regularly anyway for safe keeping :)

So for some reason I'm not getting the option to upload my creation privately. I've made it in to a dream and only have the option to upload it as playable. How do I upload it as private?

To upload as Private go into Edit mode, press the Options button, and choose Save Version - Private option should appear there :)

Sounds like it will be a simple update now, so will likely not require uploading.
