    hi,

    in the puppet menu there is a "look at" option, just add a key to the thing you want the puppet to look at and give it the same name as the option in here (rename it if you like) and turn it on.

    As for walking on the spot, that's a bit tricker. you could either create your own walking animations using a timeline and keyframes.
    Or make it a treadmill where the ground underneath is moving (giant rotating cylinder would be a good start.
    And then set the puppets follow behavior (same place and method used for the look at) and get it to try and walk to the top of the cylinder as it rotates.
