Is there a way to anchor the grid in place?
The grid is driving me insane! Every object has it's own grid, which is weird. It works fine when you're placing objects into the world, but it's not for sculpting. Why the grid is not aligned with the floor for instance? That'd give a natural center and X, Y and Z grids. It would be nice to have an option to turn these world grids on and off.
I'd be super happy to have just one global grid, that is fixed in place. Now I'm spending half of my time trying to rotate and place the second or third grid to match the first, it kind of takes the fun out of trying to create something precise...or it makes the creation of something as simple as wooden cart wheels to feel like a victory when everything is finally in place and that's not the same as feeling proud of your work, that's depressing. What am I missing? The grid feels bugged. Is there a way to anchor the very first grid you create into place so that it doesn't move?
Don't get me wrong, I love where this project is going, but it'd be nice to have more options to simple functions. Are we able to create gadgets in the future for others to use? I'd love to create a gizmo :)

The grid is world aligned, unless you're pressing L1+triangle (If I recall the combo correctly) on objects to move the grid local to said objects.
Local grid aside, the grid dots don't actually move. They just become visible only near where ever you're working.
That said, it would be nice if there was more control over the appearance of the grid. The dots can get in the way at small sizes. -
'@cgCody Ah! Thank you so much! I didn't see it as a complete grid as there's such a small part of it visible- makes much more sense now. I thought it's creating a new grid every time you pop in a new object...You just made my life so much easier :D it took me about an hour yesterday to try to figure how the grid works, now I made the same thing under 5 minutes after realizing it's the same grid, but just a small section of it.
