Sound to end on trigger

I would put a trigger zone close to the phone, wire the zone into a counter. The counter will be filled once someone enter's the zone. Wire the "counter full" into a not gate, and then wire that not gate into the power of whatever logic is making the phone ring.

The not gate will emit an on signal until someone enters the zone, fills the counter. At which point the not gate emits a 0, turning off the ringing. The counter should remain full for the rest of the scene, as long as you don't have any logic set to reset it.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I tried doing what you suggested but still can't get it to work. I think I'm doing something wrong. How should I wire the triggerzone into the counter? I tried from the counters power button to the triggerzone 'detected', but that didn't work.
Also, I wired the 'counter full' to the notgates 'input'...rather than its 'power'. Is that right?
Lastly I wired the not gates output into the power of the playback properties of the 'ringing' soundwave. The ringing soundwave is playing on a loop btw.

Totally new to messing with logic, usually just use dreams for music. So any help is always appreciated as I try and get my head around this.

Wire the trigger zone's detected output to the + (increase count) input on the counter. The rest sounds right.
