Collision help!

Try scoping into the puppet and only editing the hair, then turn collisions on for the hair, that might work

The hair doesn't have the "Collidable" option.

What is the hair made of? Like is it a sculpt or was it painted?

    Painted

I think there is no collision for paintings. I think the only way of adding physics and collision to such things would be to make sculpts. I haven't tried this yet, but am planning to as it seems to be a pretty common problem people are trying to solve. Here's the theory:

Make multiple sculpts of parts of the hair. Make them collide and make them physical. Join them with connectors so they can pivot and move with each other. Connect one end to the head. Now, in theory, the hair will move with the character's head, *and* collide with their body.

It's going to be way less efficient, and so put the thermometer in-game. Though realistically moving and colliding hair has always been a tricky problem in video games in general.

Following on from what Supposer said, you could make each section of the hair a group containing both a sculpt which is invisible but collidable, and a painting which is visible (but not collidable) and then make the group movable.

I hope that makes sense - you have one invisible object which is for the collision, and then a painting for the visuals, and they're grouped together.

I've tested this and it works - you effectively get a painting with physical properties.
