#DreamsCom22 : Booth Submissions - Questions & Issues Thread! 🎪
Hey, CoMmunity! 👋
Would you look at that, folks? Summer is on its way and the Impys are behind us for another year, so that can only mean one thing: it’s DreamsCom time! 🎉
DreamsCom '22 will be opening its doors this summer and we ARE READY to start collecting your exhibits and demos for the event! This year, there's a total of three exhibit types to choose from and submit - a stand, a booth and a listening booth!
As always, if you have any questions or if you encounter any issues with your DreamsCom submissions, please let us know in this thread and we'll get back to you ASAP! 💖

No this is not possible, the only option for the event is to let the players know the booth is designed for first person, or find a way to make it work with both.
-
After submitting, can you update your booth before the time limit is up?
(sorry if this has already been answered somewhere...)

Is there a place to send game trailers this year? I know it’s not part of the show floor but last year I submitted one for Isle of Eras.

I have 2 last minute concerns for my nearly completed booth, but I'm not sure what to do.
1. I'm using all 5 of my allowed light gadgets as spotlights to light up certain spots and it's very dark in the booth elsewhere. I was using invisible glowing sculptures to light up other areas, but the glow from them went just outside the boundaries. Making the glow dimmer or making them smaller makes it too dark and using clones of smaller ones just results in the glow going outside the booth again. It's too late to change the booth to allow more light from sun & sky.
2. I have wooden logs, beams, and grass intersecting with the base sculpture of the booth, but they don't go down past it. Is this allowed?

PlaidLight The lighting restrictions only apply to spotlights, so you can use lights in "diffuse" mode (which technically is what other objects "glow" does anyway). But yeah, the fog will need to not go beyond the limits of the *ruler* in the booth (not just your walls or whatever). That might make a difference.
You could try turning shadow-casting off on the ceiling; then the sunlight would come in.
2. I believe that should be okay.
After you submit it, Mm will let you know if there are any changes they require to use it.

I can’t enter my booth in DreamsCon when I enter the URL it’s says invalid URL. The URL is correct because when I type it in to Google it goes right to it. Please help!

mr_Supreme_Magic Since the deadline has now passed, your last update to your booth is now locked in and cannot be changed.

I sub a booth to dreams com then just yesterday I found a problem were one of my objects was non colidable and the puppet would get stuck if you jumped. I have updated the booth making the wall colidable again to fix the problem I was just wondering will my fix be on the one I submitted to Dreamscom22 are do you need to fix it from your end?
