Which do find easier planning or winging it
Planning everything out can be helpful. You line up all your ideas so you can plot out the best way to bring them out. You can also use your plan to help you describe parts to collaborater so you can bring in help. But planning it can be confusing as of knowing what needs to be thought out. Using dreams is fun but if your planning it out then you got alot of boring work out side of dreams before you can even started . Winging it can be more Joyable because you already started the work and you have no idea how the game is going to turn out in tell it done. But winging it you could run in to a block where you don't know what to do with it anymore. What do all of you guys like to do best plan it or wing it ?

It really depends on what you are making. You can wing it if you are making something art related - like a scene, painting, sculpture. Can be fun to just sculpt away and see where it takes you. For game development you really need some sort of plan. Now for some people that is also fun, but if you are not that sort of person then maybe game development is not the outlet for you and you should work on making showcases instead - or if you want to be involved in game making - join a team where someone else is responsible for the planning because they enjoy it and you can concentrate on what you are interested in.

What about when your planning can you wing it when your creating your plan ? Art is the best place for wing it. Wing it is like the true form of art Because you create on what you feel . Normally the healing power of art coming form your ability to vent your emotions.
There is alot of art need for a game . Story need to be written out . Some sculpture can be drawn first to decide the design. And something I used to do is list the mechanic for the games you need like collect or pull leavers to open door .
Planning come important when it time to ask for help you need something to show the person what you need.

Actually, I usually have the plan in mind. But it's just a simple sketch. Because until I start to set up the dream, to work with the prigram, I don't see the lights and it's time to improvise. I often think about how to do something and then I have to do it in a completely different way than I imagined it. But in the end, improvising, sometimes I manage to create better things than I had imagined at the beginning... but sometimes it can be frustrating to see how you are not able to do what you had thought since the practice is very different from what you imagine...
