Suggestions for music discoverability and notification revamp
People who make elements only and not levels have way less discoverability in general. Unless you are actively seeking that specific element out you will most likely never find it on your own. What I mean by this is in the dream surf tab it only recommends levels to play and if you make music mainly on dreams your work will never appear in this hub which is supposed to be a place to discover cool things made in dreams. There are a few music-related tabs but they all require the music to be in a level, which disqualifies the vast majority of music made in dreams. I think there should be a hub for music to be shared in outside of searching for something to stamp in a level or element. In this hub, there could be cool stuff like "song of the day" or "what is hot". You could search by genre and maybe have a curated playlist of the type of music you like to listen to. It could show how many times a song was played and building on top of that there could be a music chart in dreams showing the top songs being played. This would be such a huge improvement for people who mainly make music and I think it would encourage more music to be made. I would personally love if anything resembling this would be added!
Another idea I have is about adding more to the notification system. I think that as it stands it isn't very helpful and I have some suggestions to fix that. I think when you follow someone there should be a notification asking if you want to turn on notifications for that person meaning when they upload something you will get a notification telling you. If you decide you no longer want to be notified of that person's content you could disable notifications for that person. Then when you go to upload something there will be an option to enable notifications for that creation which determines if that creation gets shared to the people who have notifications enabled for you so you don't spam them with unimportant stuff. I know there is a section called "creations by people you follow" but I never ever look through that and I have a feeling the majority of people don't either. I also know there is a following tab but sometimes you want to follow someone but not get notifications of their content. It also shows stuff like elements being updated which isn't important at all and can make it very cluttered which in turn makes it inconvenient.
Thank you for reading :)

There is a section in dreamshaping listing music elements I believe. Is that not doing what you wanted it to do?
It's not actually too hard to make a little visual scene for your music and stick that into a dream. We have outputs from music, or you can use a speaker to capture the volume of the music and use that to drive a little animation. Or just have a static scene made from assets from the dreamiverse--like an album/single cover.
What puts you and others off of making such a scene? Maybe someone could make assets or tutorials to get people started on that easier.

Yes there is a section in dreams shaping that kinda does this but not really, it shows music by people you follow, hand-picked music from mm, the newest music released, and recommended music which is just all MM music for me. This is not what I want it to do I want it to be more accessible and personalized like I mentioned above. Most people playing dreams casually aren't gonna be able to find this area easily as it is kinda tucked away and it's not very helpful in finding interesting cool music to your liking. I know it's not hard to make a visual scene for your music but I'm arguing that you shouldn't have to to be more discoverable. When I listen to music on dreams I usually click remix so I can see the element and all the instruments. This allows me to skip through, pause, and relisten to the song easily. In a visual scene, you have to make all this yourself which is unnecessary since going into remix does this all automatically. When I see a song in a level I am way less likely to listen to it because of the inconvenience. Basically, I'm saying you listen to music with your ears, not your eyes so you shouldn't have to make visuals for a song to have it appear in the main dream surfing area.
