Do once logic

I am wondering if there's a logic gadget that works as a "do once" gate. I have been doing that with a counter, but it's a bit clunky. So, maybe I am missing out something and there's an easier way...?

  We all use counters. In fact we do this all the time which is why the default number on a counter is 1.

  If it works, it's not clunky. I just wish we could add custom microchips to the toolbar, dragging out all components can be a bit cumbersome.

  The counter works, im assuming this works, havent had the chance to try it but a two input or gate one is the input you want to work once and one is connected to the output of that same gate so once its activated the output will recursively power itself. I still think the counter will work better because you can reset that.
