USB keyboard for music

I read Alex's USB keyboard hack was in the beta via his twitter. Anyone offer any advice for using it when creating music? I plugged mine in but didn't get anything out of it, is there a trick to it or do I have to enable it somehow? Cheers!

    I think that might have been in reference to a usb midi keyboard (the type musicians play.

    Are you sure? He specifically said it was Fast Tracker II keyboard layout - he wouldn't have said that if is was just a midi keyboard (he did mention that OSC support was probably also still in as it was added at the same time, but requires his tool to get working).

    USB (computer) keyboard, yes. midi keyboard takes a bit more effort (requires a bit of sofware on a pc or mac that I will open source at some point I hope)

    I can't ask on twitter de to NDA, so looking for advice here... although it appears for whatever reason my keyboard just doesn't work... maybe I'll try booting up the ps4 with it already in.

    Hey! This feature IS in the beta, but it might be bugged. If anyone gets it working it would be cool to hear. :) We actually realised we left this in by mistake and were going to remove it, but we left it in in the end. It's not polished and it draws notes at the imp position so often off screen... it isn't really ready for creators, but if you get it working feel free.
