Trying to edit voice recordings

Any help with editing longer recording would be great. I’ve been working with the slice view and am having difficulty.

    Hey! The editor in the game is pretty barebones and only really intended for minor editing/slicing. Once your audio importer is in the game it will be a lot easier to do fine edits. For now, try perhaps zooming into your slice region with the Zoom option to get more precision.

    ahhhh so it wasnt just me!

    i was trying to figure out how to cut the clip up, there's stuff at the beginning of a clip I didn't want available to the user.

    If you L1-Square on your recorded slice it will bring up an editor where you can set a start and end point (and loop markers if the sound is set to loop). That's roughly the extent of editing in game at the moment (outside of putting it on a timeline or tweaking). There's no way at the moment to permanently trim off silence without the audio importer which will come at some point.
