Anyone else having issues with the basic puppet?

I cant seem to reproportion its limbs like MM were doing in the livestreams without resizing the entire upper or lower section of the puppet and stamping pre existing assets onto it seems to break the walking animation for some reason. I also sculpted a head on the pupped and decided to later remove it by deleting the body however i was not able to delete the purple base that comes with the puppet without deleting the head too. Im not sure if this is an issue with the game or just my ignorange of the controls. Would really appreciate some help on this though

    To change the proportions of the puppet, scope into it and use the stretch tool to pull on different body parts. You can also scale body parts up and down. But make sure you're scoped in or you'll be affecting the entire puppet :)

    I have tried that but it just seems to scale the primitive thapes the puppets limbs are mad out of. Im not sure what im missing.

    I'm having a lot of issues with resizing puppet body parts. When I resize the hips the whole puppet resizes (even scoped in).

    Also, when trying to resize/scale multiple body parts at once, both left and right thighs, for example, only one scales. But when I try the same thing selecting both the lower legs, they both scale together.
