Can I Freeze my Imp? (For music)

When I'm trying to play an instrument in Dreams it is essential that my imp stays on the instrument's canvas, but when my imp's positions and movements are entirely dependent on my controller's positions and movements that's where the difficulty comes in, because no matter how hard I try to hold my controller still it's always going to be picking up my subtlest of movements causing my imp to gradually slide off the canvas which is frustrating when I'm trying to precisely input specific notes in a specific sequence. So if there's a way to pause/freeze my imp on a certain part of the canvas allowing me move my controller however I want without disrupting the imp that would make things way easier when I'm trying to input musical notes when playing instruments.

  There is a non-motion control scheme on the way. Until then, lowering the imp sensitivity in the settings might help a bit.

  Hi there!
  
  As cgCody suggests the best things to help with it at the moment would be lowering the imp sensitivity and also if you make sure to rest the controller on your lap if you can that could help out a little too, as if you're holding it up that can create small movements with each press.
  
  You could also make sure the canvas takes up as much space as possible so make sure you're quite close to it :)

  Or if you simply want notes to be recorded into the clip, you can use the piano roll mode and add notes directly. These usually appear near the middle of the canvas.
