How many Variables can be stored and transferred to the next linked dream.
Also how do we actually transmit those variables to the next level?

Hi. I have also asked this question (but worded it differently) and so far got not response.
The only thing I have figured out is to remix altered copies of scenes.
So for example let's say you have a house on a farm as one scene, and the farm-house interior in a second scene. In a third scene, you want to go back outside but now have a tornado, and remember that you collected your shotgun from inside the house.
The only solution I have found so far is to remix the first scene of outside to have a tornado, and also have a shotgun on your character. technically you will be in a third, separate dream scene because it is remixed. so the connected scenes in dream edit mode will be like 1 > 2 > 3 instead of 1 > 2 > 1.
Sorry but this is the best I could do :( -
Okay, so how many I do not know, but I know how to use them. I'll explain the basics but you could read the tips in Variable (https://indreams.me/guide/palette-glossary/assembly/components/logic-and-processing/variable) and Variable Modifier (https://indreams.me/guide/palette-glossary/assembly/components/logic-and-processing/variable-modifier), as they tell you all this stuff too!
– First, grab a Variable and stamp it into your first Scene.
– Tweak it to your liking, max/min/initial values, and turn "Persist in Dream" ON
– Modify the Variable as you need through the level with Modifiers
– Save, exit, create a new Scene
– Stamp another Variable in your second Scene.
– Now here's the important bit: All values MUST be the same as the ones in the first scene (and must also persist in dream, obviously). If you don't remember or haven't taken notes, just save the variable gadget from the first Scene to your creations and stamp it with all the tweaks made.
– To actually work, as the option implies, both scenes have to be in the same Dream (linked scenes / map). Link both scenes and you'll have it!
So basically, as Mm says in the help tips I linked:
«To use persist in dream, you need to have a variable gadget (for each variable) with the same name and settings in each scene which uses that variable in the dream.
If you have a lot of different variables, think about saving them all together in one scene and saving it as an element that you can then add to all your scenes.» -
