Puppet keeps falling through the puppet base when i go to play it?

Characters are certainly one of the trickier things to build in Dreams! Here's what I try to do.

Scope into a puppet once and start sculpting the body part I want. Select the new sculpt and the puppet piece it is replacing, then group them. After each body part, scope back out to the overal puppet group and move your puppet to make sure it's working. You could even go into play mode after each body part is added to be extra sure things are working as expected.

I've had a couple characters go wonky, and I just gave up on them...

I've figured out that it's because I accidentally somehow removed the bolts and pistons from the feet and legs, which I have NO clue how I even managed that, however now I am trying to re-build the wiring in the legs and feet but I don't understand how to get them to stay when I lay them down. I'm thinking it has something to do with the grid connector

Also thank you for your insight!

You need to tweak the puppet with L1+Square on the circle at the puppet's feet, go to the tab with the person icon, and click the pelvis button in the tweak menu and then click on the pelvis sculpt to link them up so the puppet knows to link the pelvis movement with the puppet's movement.

There's more info about building custom characters in this thread: https://feedback.indreams.me/forums/917434-dreams-how-do-i/suggestions/36376984-creating-a-fully-custom-puppet

I know I could just start with another puppet, but I like what I did with this one and can't quite get other ones to look just like it, lol! oh well, I might just have to get over it and move on but I would like to learn everything I can if possible.

*correction* I meant Auto guide -- NOT grid connector.
