How do you make the global variables work?

I have two scenes linked in a Dream, and a variable called «ScoreVar». I’ve set this variable to be «Persistent», but using the variable modifier to change this variable doesn’t change it in the next scene.

I’ve set a variable gadget in both scenes, each with identical settings, but it still doesn’t work.

I’ve also noticed that the «Persistent»-setting in the variable-gadget does have an output, but I’m unsure if I’m supposed to use this in order to make the variable global and not.

  And you're sure they're spelled and capitalized identically? Did you make sure to name your Variables and not just your Variable Modifiers?

  Phort, yes I created a Variable called ScoreVar. Saved it and the stamped it in both scenes. Did not work. Starting to think that this might be a bug
